how to lock a folder without actually using any software

many of us use a folder lock software to protect our document. but either these softwares are expensive, or they create too much registries in your PC making the software noticeable, now in this post i am going to tell my favourite and easiest technique to lock a folder.

just follow the steps to successfully lock a folder

1. first of create a new folder let it be "folder lock"
   
2. now open this folder and create another folder in it, let it be "VAMPIRIC", we are going to lock this folder
   
3. now open the notepad and type "ren VAMPIRIC VAMPIRIC.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}", replace "vampiric" by your folder name, rest you can copy from here.
   
4. now save this file as LOCK.bat in the "folder lock" folder
   
5. now again open the notepad and type "ren VAMPIRIC.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} VAMPIRIC", replace "vampiric" by your folder name, rest you can copy from here.
   
6. now save this file as OPEN.bat in the "folder lock" folder
   
7. now your "folder lock" folder should look like this.
   
   
   
8. now to lock the folder click "LOCK.bat", this will convert your folder into control panel.
   
9. to open the folder click "OPEN.bat", youir folder will be restored.
   
10. that's it you have created you own folder lock.
